What is happening to our lodge!

There have been many things happening to our lodge and still more to come. I just wanted to take a moment to update everyone on some things that have been happening. First off we Painted and moved our masonic treasures out of the common areas. This is to protect those things and make our building more appealing to people that are renting the building. We have been working with a booking agent to fill our available dates with renters which is what is allowing us to make the upgrades to the building. Our plan is to put these treasures into our lodge and preparation rooms and display them in a dignified manner that they deserve. We installed cameras in the lodge to improve security and safety around the lodge. Currently the lobby is covered and the dining room is covered. We plan to extend this to the parking lot and the back alley. perhaps the kitchen as well. THE LODGE ROOM WILL NOT HAVE CAMERAS! The building board has just approved a restoration bid that will cap our columns around the building, pressure wash the brick and seal all the brick. This is a step towards protecting our assets. The board is also very close to a deal to update the entrance way with a new wall and doors which will greatly improve our security. There will be more to follow. Our goal is to make St. Andrews an enjoyable place to be.
